About DCI, INC
DCI is a family owned, fully integrated, American furniture manufacturing company.
We make sustainable, high quality, extremely durable furniture for college residence halls and military dormitories. Our products incorporate craftsmanship and are engineered to provide years of service under intensive use.
Our mission is to be the best supplier of sustainable furnishings and a leader in services to student and military housing programs seeking both quality and value. We take a highly collaborative approach to business relationships; we believe in working together, we’re great listeners, and we value customer feedback. Henry Kober started the company in 1975 working out of a small shop with three employees. Today, DCI has customers worldwide. Operations now include a team of over 200 employees, with headquarters in New Hampshire, a factory in North Carolina and an assembly facility in California. We also operate a sawmill in Vermont, allowing management of the manufacturing process from start to finish, and bringing DCI to the forefront as a leading supplier of sustainably made solid wood furniture.
