Tri Star Energy has been proud to call Middle Tennessee home since it’s formation in 2000. The heart, soul, and strength of two very deeply rooted families are the foundation on which we have built our retail, wholesale and commercial fueling business. We are blessed to have an amazing group of veteran leaders and employees that are here to serve at every level.
As we move forward bringing new brands and new offerings to the marketplace, we will continue to support the communities we serve, remembering the importance of our vendor partners and counting the blessings of our relationships with our employees, neighbors, and guests.

It all started back in 1998 when the Shell Oil Company approached two local businesses, The Parman Corporation (founded in 1978 & owned by the Jewell family) and Kimbro Oil Company (founded in 1968 & owned by the Kimbro family), to discuss a joint venture.
Tri Star Energy, LLC was formed in October 2000 as a 3-way venture between:
- The Parman Corporation
- Kimbro Oil Company
- Shell Oil Company, US
Growth Since 2001...It all started back in 1998 when the Shell Oil Company approached two local businesses, The Parman Corporation (founded in 1978 & owned by the Jewell family) and Kimbro Oil Company (founded in 1968 & owned by the Kimbro family), to discuss a joint venture.

The implementation of Twice Daily Convenience Stores started with the first store opening in Joelton, TN in August 2011. Since then, we've opened 50 Twice Daily locations around Middle Tennessee and the Southeast Region!
Looking forward into the next 5-years we're planning on opening 40 new Twice Daily/White Bison brand-in-brand locations, focusing heavily on our expansion into Alabama.

Our most notable line of business is our retail operation. We sell oil directly to consumers via our C-Stores. Tri Star Energy’s Twice Daily convenience stores are designed to raise the level of offerings to its customers and build lasting relationships by serving the community better.
Established in 2011, Nashville-based Tri Star Energy developed the brand Twice Daily, which has grown to 55 stores throughout Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia. Tri Star Energy also operates an additional 35 branded fuel stations. Over the past two quarters, consumers have ranked Twice Daily one of the top-five convenience and fuel brands in the GasBuddy app.
The White Bison brand was created to transform Twice Daily into a total food and beverage offering to meet all the customer’s needs. White Bison lives in Twice Daily convenience stores, but Tri Star Energy has launched a couple of standalone White Bison locations to increase brand awareness.
