Our Story
In 1992, Ruth E. Siegfried founded the company now called InVision Human Services.  From 1992 until 2010, InVision was known as SharpVisions, and in November 2010, we restructured our corporation so that we are now known as InVision Human Services to more accurately reflect the innovative and visionary qualities that permeate our people and our corporate culture.

InVision began as a provider offering services to three individuals with disabilities.  To date, InVision has supported more than 500 people throughout Pennsylvania.  InVision Human Services was created in response to a need for nontraditional approaches to serving people whose disabilities are particularly challenging to support, and it is increasingly evident that our approach to customizing supports for people is a dream of many folks.  Each person's vision for a successful life becomes our vision, and we do whatever it takes to make that vision a reality.

The company is in the midst of exponential growth, with our flagship company often considered the 'provider of choice' in Pennsylvania.  In addition, we have expanded our family of companies to include an authentically inclusive preschool and early childhood education facility, a charitable foundation, and South Africa Partnership that allows us to support children with disabilities in that country and to implement a staff exchange program.

The InVision Human Services family of companies allows us to expand our services throughout Pennsylvania and beyond.
Our Vision
InVision Human Services is a family of companies that provide services and products designed to transform the lives of people who are experiencing significant life challenges.

Our name reflects the innovative approaches we use to fulfill this mission. We do more than just talk about innovation and vision. Every activity we pursue and decision we make is intentionally creative, cutting-edge, and visionary.

Within the mission of each of our companies, we continually explore new and often revolutionary solutions to problems and challenges for the people and organizations we support, our employees, and the families we work with, and we intentionally seek affiliations that will increase our ability to provide creative, successful services for the individuals we support.
Our Team
When you join InVision, you join a diverse, dynamic staff. InVision promotes from within whenever possible, and the demand for our services means we are constantly expanding throughout Pennsylvania, and beyond. This rapid growth means we are always looking for talented individuals to join our team. InVision employees have opportunities to sharpen their skills through professional development and by working alongside some of the industry’s finest professionals.

We have amazing Direct Support Professionals like Jay, Deborah, Mary, Steve (pictured above), and more, who have been with us for many years providing top notch support to the people we serve.

We also now offer top-tier, nationally-recognized training from the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP). With us, you can work toward your DSP I, II, and III level status for free! Talk with a recruiter about this awesome training program.
Our Core Values
All human beings are treated with dignity and respect.

It is one thing to say these words, but another to live them. We at InVision Human Services are committed to treating everyone – employees, customers, vendors, and all people and organizations we may support – with the dignity and respect they deserve. Anything less is unacceptable.

We are determined to act with integrity, knowing that doing so often requires courage and tenacity.

We believe that integrity is inherent in the way we conduct business. Demonstrating integrity is easy when our actions are seen and heard publicly. Being truthful and holding to our principles takes courage and tenacity, especially during times when our actions are not seen or heard publicly.

We choose innovation over convention.

Innovation is at the heart of our business philosophy. We use approaches that we believe are the most effective; oftentimes, that means creating a new standard. Innovation is part of our name, because it is who we are.

We take risks, learn from the outcomes, and use that knowledge as an impetus for improvement.

We strive for excellence, at the same time understanding this company was founded on the principle of taking risks. We may not be successful every time; risk-takers frequently are not. However, we own our decisions, learn from the outcomes, and use what we have learned as a foundation for future decision-making.
