COMPANY HISTORY
The owners, Casey and Cheryl Mussatto & Terry and Nina Dow, originally founded Flint Hills Beverage in 2000 when they purchased the Anheuser-Busch distribution rights in the Manhattan/Junction City area. Mussatto Bros. was founded in 1933 by Victor and Joe Mussatto in Osage City. Raymond and Juanita Mussatto owned and operated it from 1950 thru 1985 when Casey and Cheryl Mussatto took over ownership. January 1st 2013, Mussatto Bros, Inc. located in Osage City merged with Flint Hills Beverage, LLC located in Manhattan. After the merger, the company became Flint Hills Beverage named after the region it serves and continues operations in both cities. Flint Hills Beverage is the leading beverage wholesaler in the Flint Hills region distributing a large variety of high quality beverage products representing Anheuser-Busch Inbev, Monster Energy, Nestle, Tallgrass Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company plus 40 other beverage producers.
The merger created the 5th largest Anheuser-Busch wholesaler in the state. Through the efforts of more than 50 dedicated employees, Flint Hills Beverage will be able to better serve their 500 plus retailers spread over 15 counties and the 220,000 people in the Flint Hills region who buy their beverage products from them.
