About Northumbria Police
Northumbria is one of the largest forces in the country and is recognised as one of the top performing in the UK.
We are made up of approx. 5,658 colleagues, including officers, police staff and our community support officers.
We have a variation of support teams who work within the Force in order to help our officers carry out their roles to the best of their ability.
Some of our support functions include, HR, Finance, Procurement, IT & Customer Service.
You don't have to be a police officer to work for the Police, and our staff roles are absolutely crucial in helping the Force to perform at it's best and protect the vulnerable in our society.
