In northeastern Oklahoma and southern Kansas, Ascension’s St. John Health System operates 6 hospitals and a comprehensive network of affiliated centers of excellence; including St. John Clinic, a team of more than 500 primary care and specialty physicians serving patients in 95+ clinic locations. St. John is Oklahoma’s only ACS Level II trauma center and northeastern Oklahoma’s only Joint Commission-accredited stroke center. We also have one of Oklahoma’s only accredited women’s diagnostic imaging centers of excellence. St. John Healthcare has provided more than $79 million in unreimbursed care for the poor and underserved over the past three fiscal years (2016-2018). In the greater Tulsa area, St. John actively reaches out to disadvantaged citizens. Through the creation of the Medical Access Program (MAP), St. John serves individuals living in poverty in numerous ways, including the provision of free diagnostic imaging and specialty medical care.

St. John Health System has integrated Regional Medical Laboratory (RML) into the St. John family to handle laboratory testing services. Our RML staff utilize cutting-edge technology for accurate, high-quality and timely results. RML is a nationally-recognized commercial pathology laboratory that provides testing for thousands of hospitals.

Community Hospitals
St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, which was named the #1 Hospital in Oklahoma by the U.S. News and World Report for 2017-2018, is St. John Health System’s largest. However, we operate several additional community hospitals.
- St. John Broken Arrow is a 44-bed hospital serves Broken Arrow and the surrounding communities; and offers a wide range of services including: emergency care, orthopedic services, sports medicine, joint replacement, general surgery and imaging.
- St. John Owasso provides 24-hour emergency care, surgical services, imaging and women’s services to Owasso and surrounding communities.
- St. John Sapulpa is a 25-bed, non-profit hospital offering full-service primary care, general surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology to Sapulpa residents and surrounding communities.
- Jane Phillips Medical Center provides a wide array of critical inpatient and outpatient services to Bartlesville and surrounding communities including: general medicine, surgery, cardiopulmonary care, maternal and infant care, cancer treatment, geriatric care, orthopedics, and physical medicine. Jane Phillips features a new Wound Center, as well as the state’s first certified pulmonary rehab program.
