Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe maintaining a healthy work-life balance is important for employees to be able to be at their best when they are working, which is why we have a competitive paid time off program for both full-time and part-time employees. Full-time (30+ hrs) hourly employees will receive one week paid time off upon hire and salaried employees will receive two weeks paid time off upon hire. Your PTO earning rate increases along with your time with the company. The longer you stay the more PTO you earn! Included in this benefit is the opportunity to sell a portion of your earned PTO back to the company for cash.

Premium Pay Attendance Incentive: On top of our competitive base wages, we also offer the opportunity for all non-exempt employees to earn an extra $1.50 - $2.00 per hour (based on tenure). Each bi-weekly pay period we pay out an attendance incentive to each employee who is on time and works each of their scheduled shifts during the pay period.

First Year Wage Increases: New employees receive a 1% pay increase at 90, 180 and 365 days of successful employment.

401(k): Save for your retirement by enrolling in one of our 401(k) retirement plans. Elite Casino Resorts properties offer pre-tax contributions as well as ROTH after-tax contributions, all with a company match.

Profit Sharing: Our employees drive our success. That's why we share our success with our employees in the form of a profit sharing program. We provide a quarterly profit sharing bonus based upon the success of the company (subject to Board approval).

Term Life Insurance: Elite Casino Resorts provides all full-time employees with a base amount of free term life insurance. Employees may purchase additional term life insurance up to 5x their annual earnings at affordable group rates.

Voluntary Benefits: We have partnered with AFLAC, a leading voluntary benefits provider, to offer benefits to our employees at affordable group rates. These benefits, to include short-term disability, accident, critical illness and cancer coverage, provide the employee with cash payments to help offset the cost of insurance and lost wages.

Medical: We offer a PPO medical plan with three different deductible options, to include a Health Savings Account option with a company match, at affordable and competitive rates.

Dental: Elite Casino Resorts dental coverage offers a variety of services to you and your family ranging from routine maintenance to major services.

Above & Beyond Employee Recognition:

The "Caught in the Act" employee recognition program is designed to recognize any employee who gets "caught" doing something good!

A "Caught in the Act" may be written and submitted by any employee who observes another employee doing something good. If you see a coworker doing a good job or want to say thank you to them for helping you, then recognize them with a "Caught in the Act"! They may be doing their job well or going above and beyond the call of duty and that deserves a Caught in the Act! Every month each submitted "Caught in the Acts" are voted upon and the best ones receive our monthly "Above and Beyond" award. The Above and Beyond winners receive a stay in our hotel, dinner at our Ruthie's Steak and Seafood restaurant, a treatment at The Spa and a round of golf at any Elite Casino Resorts owned golf course.

An Iowa-Owned Family Corporation

Elite Casino Resort's roots can be traced back to the beginning of regional gaming in the United States. The Kehl family has been involved in gaming since its inception in the state of Iowa. On March 8, 1990, the Dubuque Casino Belle, Inc. a corporation owned and operated by Robert & Ruth Kehl, was granted the first riverboat gaming operator's license in Iowa and the Dubuque Casino Belle became the first American-flagged vessel to offer gambling cruises in the United States.

The Kehls received their second license in 1991 for the Mississippi Belle II, Inc. The Mississippi Belle II started riverboat gaming operations on June 1, 1991 in Clinton, IA. Over the next 15 years, the Kehls had interest in and operated a total of four riverboat casinos in the Midwest: Dubuque Casino Belle, Mississippi Belle II, Catfish Bend Casino (Fort Madison/Burlington, Iowa) and Saint Joe Frontier Casino (St. Joe, Missouri).

Elite Casino Resorts currently owns and operates Riverside Casino & Golf Resort (Riverside, Iowa just 15 minutes from Iowa City), Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort (Larchwood, IA just 15 minutes from Sioux Falls, SD) and Rhythm City Casino Resort (Davenport, IA). New casino resort projects in Illinois and Nebraska are in the works.

Winning Hands - Giving Back

The Winning Hands Employee Volunteer Program provides a forum by which the company promotes employee volunteerism through the organization and communication of employee volunteer opportunities, as well as providing recognition and charitable contributions based upon the amount of volunteer hours contributed by the employee. The Winning Hands Employee Volunteer Program is one of the ways in which we strive to meet our company mission statement commitment of contributing to our communities through service and development. The Giving Back Program raises funds for local charitable organizations through guest and company donations.

Elite Casino Resorts has a strong commitment to giving back to the communities and people we serve. Our Winning Hands Employee Volunteer Program, created in 2011, connects our employees with a wide variety of volunteer opportunities which touch every corner of our society. Our employees consistently generate over 13,000 volunteer hours annually. We participate annually in the Give Back Iowa Challenge, a program initiated by the Governor's Office aimed at engaging Iowans in employer-supported volunteering, and are proud to say our Riverside Casino & Golf Resort team has finished in 1st place five times (2016 & 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021) out of seven years the program has been in place.
