As a social and gaming entertainment venue, fun is a fundamental part of Drive Shack’s culture and is reflected in the company’s hiring process. A one-of-a-kind and innovative interview method, Drive Shack hosts a series of hiring events that kick off with interactive games that are inspired by or include popular ones like Mad Libs and Connect Four. There’s also a Lego themed activity, a relay challenge in which applicants split into teams and race to complete several tasks, and investigative play where applicants must use clues to solve various situations.
Not all just fun and games, each experience serves a purpose and is designed to help promote a diverse workforce and objectively gauge an individuals’ natural skillset. Games are aligned with Drive Shack positions and help guide the recruitment team in helping place candidates in the roles best suited for them. An applicant can come in for one role and through the games, Drive Shack’s team may identify skills that strongly support another position and offer alternate job options to the candidate. After the games portion of the interview process is completed each applicant has a one-on-one meeting with a Drive Shack manager.
Drive Shack hires for both full- and part-time roles to support its 65,000 square foot, 96-bay entertainment venue. Positions range from servers and bartenders to line cooks and bussers, to guest services and more.
