About White House Clinics
In 1973, a young Kentucky doctor named Phil Curd, fresh from a term of service in the Peace Corps, was determined to find a way to use his medical training to serve those Kentuckians most in need of healthcare. Jackson County was the Kentucky county most in need of a physician, so Dr. Curd hung out his shingle on a small white frame house—the house that eventually gave White House Clinics our name. Today that tradition of service proudly continues. White House Clinics offers “one stop” healthcare and an array of services for the whole family.
Who We AreHighly skilled physicians, pharmacists, dentists, mental health professionals, personal health coaches, educators and nutritionists that deliver progressive, patient-centered healthcare right here at home.
Now celebrating our 44th year of service, we boast 9 state-of-the-art-facilities, offer on-site pharmacies and labs plus extended evening hours and Saturday clinics.
White House Clinics are proud to offer quality healthcare to all members of our community. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, and as a Federally Qualified Health Care Center, we receive federal funding to offset costs for uninsured and low-income patients.
