Rick's Barbecue

Rick’s Barbecue Inc. is an American fast-casual restaurant chain and wholesale manufacturer of fresh, never frozen smoked meats that is headquartered in Leoma, Tennessee. Rick’s has been in operation since 1979 starting out as a small block and brick building in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with only two pits, a drive-thru, and a walk up window. Our USDA inspected processing plant, central warehouse, and commissary for all operations provide us with the ability to deliver fresh, never frozen high quality products at the lowest possible price. In addition, we have large wholesale operations that service the southeast with distributions including large grocery warehouses, wholesale suppliers, and school systems.

After years of hard work and dedication, and by surrounding themselves with great people, Rick Lanning and his wife have grown the business into an operation that includes seven company owned and two independently owned retail outlets in both Tennessee and Alabama. The main focus of our success has been our customers and employees. Rick’s goal since 1979 has been to provide customers a high quality, fresh, never frozen, pure meat product at a competitive price. You will not find compressed wood pellets or liquid smoke enhancements, but rather our meats are smoked and hand pulled the old fashioned way - the use of real hickory wood on pits designed by Rick himself. Our continued success is in direct correlation to the passion for what Rick does and the love from both customers and employees.
