Our Communities
Our clinics in Washington span eight communities in the Yakima Valley and beyond. We're headquartered in Yakima, but we also have clinics in Sunnyside, Ellensburg, Pasco, Walla Walla, Goldendale, White Salmon, and Cle Elum.

Comprehensive Healthcare provides services in eleven counties across Central Washington, stretching as far north as Moses Lake and as far south as the border with Oregon. While this area is mostly known as a rural agricultural region, its lively small cities and unique geology make it an excellent place to live and recreate.

Because of the rain shadow effect from the Cascade Mountains, most locations in Central Washington have a mild, arid climate and enjoy an average of 300 days of sunshine per year. We tend to have cool winters with little snow and warm, dry summers. Most of our communities are surrounded by rolling hills or ridgelines and have excellent views of the neighboring mountains.

All of this makes Central Washington the perfect place for outdoor recreation. Whether for fishing, hiking, kayaking, camping, skiing, ATVing, or rock climbing, this region boasts quick access to outstanding recreation sites. Vast areas of national forest, federal public lands, state parks, and multiple national parks and monuments are all within a short drive, making Central Washington an exceptional place for outdoor enthusiasts.

As an agricultural region, Central Washington produces a huge proportion of our nation’s apples, cherries, pears, wine grapes, and hops. The Yakima Valley is becoming increasingly well-known as a hub for the craft beer and wine industry and attracts tourists from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Since our communities are smaller, the cost of living tends to be much more affordable than in larger metro areas. We have a variety of options for housing, plus short commute times and free, on-site employee parking at all of our clinics. Because of our central location, all the amenities of the major metropolitan areas of Seattle, Portland, and Spokane are just a short trip away.

The Hiring Process

Comprehensive Healthcare offers an online employment application system to streamline the job search and application process. This system allows applicants to conduct job searches, request to receive email alerts about future openings, create an application profile, apply for employment, receive updates about current positions and share information about a job with a friend or social media networks.

The Human Resources department reviews every single application that we receive. Due to the large volume of applications we receive, unfortunately we are not able to personally contact every applicant. The candidates whose qualifications best meet our needs for a particular position will be contacted by a member of our HR team to arrange an interview. If a particular candidate is interested in and qualified for multiple open positions, we will gladly consider that candidate for multiple roles--no additional application required.

After a successful interview period, which sometimes might include more than one interview depending on the position, Human Resources staff will conduct a background check and collect references on the leading candidate. Once this step is completed with satisfactory results, an offer of employment may be made.

Comprehensive Healthcare is a drug-free workplace and conducts post-offer, pre-employment drug screens on all prospective employees. The drug screen must be completed within 24 hours of the verbal offer of employment; failure to comply with this process will result in the offer being rescinded. Please note that any agency that receives federal funding—including Comprehensive Healthcare—must comply with federal regulations regarding drug use. Consequently, we do test for marijuana during drug screens and will rescind an offer of employment due to a positive result for marijuana.
