VelociTel speeds up the delivery of telecommunications. The company provides outsourced planning, design, and management of wireless networks for telecom carriers and equipment vendors worldwide. The company specializes in "architecture-based" wireless site development as well as optimizing existing networks and facilities. Its end-to-end services include site acquisition, zoning, tower design, construction management, and maintenance and repair. VelociTel also provides network engineering services, including backhaul design and network optimization, for all major wireless technologies. Investors in the company are led by Willis Stein & Partners.

Its customers include carriers leading wireless carriers AT&T Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless), Verizon Wireless, and Sprint Nextel), as well as tower operator American Tower. Through wholly owned subsidiary Ruhl-Parr & Associates, the company offers architectural design services for office and industrial buildings, retailers, and hospitality establishments.

In 2006 VelociTel acquired Atlanta-based wireless architecture and engineering firm PS&W Engineering. The previous year the company acquired SiteSafe, the RF health and safety compliance services company formerly owned by Crown Castle.
