About Camp Lenox
Since 1918 Camp Lenox has been enhancing children's lives with traditional camp programs in the beautiful Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts. As one of the premier coed sports programs in the New England region, Camp Lenox offers a well balanced program of sports, outdoor education, water-sports and fine arts.
Our top level facilities and strong instructional program make Lenox a great camp for families seeking a balance between fun and skill development. Directors Richard and Stephanie Moss oversee the daily running of all aspects of the Lenox program along with Richard's father Monty Moss. The Moss family has owned Camp Lenox since 1964.
Our Mission is for each camper to feel secure, have fun, improve skills, and develop the skills needed to excel in today's world. By making this a priority, we hope to see each child become a more balanced, self reliant person who can live cooperatively in a group setting while maintaining his/her individuality. Our program offers the best of traditional camping: spirit, special events and time tested traditions that keep campers coming back year after year.
Our specialty programming offers each camper the opportunity to hone in on skills that he or she would like to master and improve during the course of the summer. We offer individual electives, recreational group periods, intramural leagues, tournaments and inter-camp games, and an extensive special event schedule.
At Camp Lenox, the relationships you develop with campers and fellow staff members will make your summer an unforgettable experience!
