About Lord's Legacy Life Ministries
Our mission is to serve those diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities by Loving them like Jesus, Challenging them towards growth, and Equipping them to thrive!
You can serve and work with us in 4 ways:
• Our Day Training provides an environment to grow and learn new life skills in a group setting for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities!
• Our Community Supports is one-on-one support in community settings designed to build independent living skills and community inclusion for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities!
• Our Residential Homes are located in the greater Nicholasville and Lexington areas. Participants in our homes learn daily living skills and build bonds while living life to the fullest! Each home has 2-3 participants.
• Our Leadership Team trains, equips, and leads our staff to help our participants live their lives to the fullest!

Day TrainingOur Day Training provides an environment to grow and learn new life skills in a group setting for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Staff in this department lead lessons, field trips, and assist with daily living skills to help our participants grow in independence.
Community SupportsOur Community Supports is one-on-one support in community settings designed to build independent living skills and community inclusion for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Staff in this group help a participant build independent living skills while out in the community building relationships!
Residential HomesOur Residential Homes are located in the greater Nicholasville and Lexington areas. Participants in our homes learn daily living skills and build bonds while living life to the fullest! Each home has 2-3 participants. Staff in our homes serve and help build independent home skills for our participants!
Community OnlineOur Community Online works to help participants learn and engage with their peers from anywhere. Our lessons cover a variety of life skills and topics from: virtual tours of faraway countries, culinary classes, health, theology, and more. We are always needing volunteers to teach on a topic they love or to showcase their careers!
Pods (Small Group Outings)Our Pods or small groups are a support in community settings designed to build independent living skills and community inclusion for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Pods are based out of our Day Training and help participants experience community together. Staff in this role take participants to everything from coffee shops, to the mall, to concerts!
