About Keystone Job Corps Center
Keystone is among the nation’s oldest Job Corps Centers having opened its doors in 1967. The Keystone Center houses 471 residential students. It offers training in 14 trades, 2 online high school diploma programs and a college/certification degree program through Luzerne County Community College. The majority of students are from eastern Pennsylvania.

The Center sits on 170 acres in Drums, PA and is located just a short drive from the city of Hazleton and the Pocono Raceway. Hazleton offers opportunities for student enrichment through its robust performing arts community, such as the Pennsylvania Theatre of Performing Arts.

Students can participate in the Student Government Association, peer leadership classes, seasonal sports teams and various student clubs. They also enjoy educational field trips, job site visits and offsite recreational activities such as movies, roller-skating and trips to see sporting events. Onsite recreational offerings include weight training, arts & crafts and a recreation room with ping pong, pool tables, and foosball

Students are active members of the Luzerne County community and support organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross.
