The core of The Connor Group's success is people. More specifically, people who share a common vision, commit to the company's Core Values, are passionate about what they do, and are dedicated and driven to be the best.
On April 23, 2020, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, CEO and Managing Partner Larry Connor put actions to two of the company’s Core Values - People Count and Do the Right Thing. In a surprise video broadcast to all of his employees, Larry shared how he had recently made $1.6 Million in the stock market and he was giving every dime of it to them as a symbol of his gratitude and appreciation.
Work hard, play hard – that's our philosophy. The Connor Group is a pet-friendly company that rewards and recognizes its people through best-in-the-industry benefits, personalized "wish list" gifts, awards breakfasts, sky's -the-limit advancement opportunities and a partner program.
Since 1992, The Connor Group has grown from $0 in assets to more than $3.7 billion. It all started with a series of beliefs.
◾Be the best, not the biggest.
◾Give residents superior service.
◾Constantly evaluate and improve.
◾Invest in associates through training, benefits and advancement opportunities.
Mission: In 2013, The Connor Group formalized its core values, but really they’re nothing new. They’ve been associates’ guiding principles since the company was founded. The list serves as both a roadmap and reminder, bulleted items that describe who we are as a company and what we want to be.
They are:
◾Do the right thing
◾People count
◾Live the Circle of Success
◾Think long-term, not short-term
◾Relentless pursuit of excellence
