Founded in 1889, as New England Deaconess Association, the organization has celebrated a long history and renowned reputation for providing a broad range of services and cultivating the desire of everyone to age gracefully. Newbury Court:
In one of the most picturesque settings along the Sudbury River, Newbury Court is a dynamic continuing care retirement community bounding with life and abundant energy. We offer Independent Living, Memory Care Assosted Living and Nursing Home services. It only takes a moment upon walking through the doors that you experience a warm welcome from our residents and staff members. In speaking with our employees, they often share how they have developed lifelong friendships at Newbury Court while thriving with opportunities for professional and personal growth. From resident funded scholarships for academic advancement, to our supportive leadership team and the many trainings that are offered, find our why many of our staff members have been with us for over 5 years, while a large number have been with us for well over 10. Rockridge
Nestled in a peaceful setting in Hampshire County, Rockridge is a homelike environment where culture embodies community. We offer Traditional and Memory Care Assisted Living, Independent Living and Rest Home services. Our supportive leadership team works hard to make sure you are empowered each day while our residents’ positive energy and smiles create an environment you feel like being a part of. Many of our staff members have made lifelong friends not only with each other but with the residents they serve as well. It is not uncommon to hear a staff member going “above and beyond” for a resident whom they are fond of and that it gives them a sense of fulfilment in doing so.

With Deaconess Abundant Life Services, personal care assistance and help with the various activities of daily living are conveniently provided for you in the comfort of your own home. We offer creative homecare solutions to daily challenges, thus allowing you to thrive and remain independent. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our skilled, compassionate, and caring staff will be there to meet your needs whenever you need us.

Wesley Woods:
Located in Gilford, New Hampshire, is a residential community uniquely designed for persons 62 and older. Set in a beautifully wooded area, Wesley Woods offers a variety of home plans to match each person’s needs. Wesley Woods Homes in Gilford is like an old-fashioned neighborhood where folks interact with each other on a daily basis. The friendly atmosphere that abounds is what makes it an attractive place to live. The community is meant to offer assistance with the tougher chores of home-ownership, such as snow plowing and shoveling, lawn maintenance and appliance repair.

Staff Appreciation Events
Deaconess loves to express our gratitude and appreciation to our staff! Our Newbury Court HR Team delivers snacks to all departments every Tuesday as a way to show our thanks. Some past staff apprecation events have included onsite taco and ice cream trucks, employee bake-off, various catered holiday parties and more!
