LOGAN ALUMINUM

Those folks who like to crush beer cans against their foreheads owe a lot to LOGAN ALUMINUM. Formed in 1983, Logan manufactures aluminum sheet that is used primarily by the beverage industry. A joint venture of Tri-Arrows Aluminum (60%) and Novelis (40%), LOGAN ALUMINUM consists of one production facility that also manufactures products for makers of building products and rigid containers as well as for the automotive industry. Its technology includes ingot casting, hot and cold rolling, and finishing. Logan also operates an aluminum recycling facility that opened in 2008. Tri-Arrows Aluminum is owned by a Japanese consortium led by Sumitomo, and Novelis is owned by Indian aluminum producer Hindalco.
