HIstory
Lincoln Hospital District No. 3 was formed in 1961 by a grassroots movement of the local community to establish a hospital district in Davenport. The group not only wanted to bring local healthcare to Lincoln County, but provide a nursing home and jobs to boost the economy. Over the past 40 years, Lincoln Hospital expanded to include three medical clinics, assisted living, long term and transitional care. It has grown tremendously in terms of number of staff and availability of services. Starting with a staff of 50 under administrator Paul Kembel, Lincoln Hospital now employs nearly 300 people and is under the management of administrator Tyson Lacy.
