About Madera Companies
The Madera Companies are five organizations bringing fantastic services and solutions to multiple industries, from multifamily housing to property technology, financial technology, and title insurance. Each of our businesses put people first, both for our employees and for the people we get to serve. While much of our services and solutions are based and serve the state of Texas, we are growing into the rest of United States and partnering with organizations across the world.
Madera Residential was the first, the one who started our growth back in 2008, when we purchased our first apartment property. Now, we own almost 50 properties across Texas (DFW, Houston, and Austin), with a current value of more than $2 billion. Madera Residential is creating communities where people want to live and stay, thanks to our amazing property staffs and community-driven culture.
Rockwood Multifamily is our fee management company. When other apartment property owners witnessed the success of Madera Residential, they began asking about how we do things. They wanted to see their apartment communities thrive in the same way, so we brought Madera Residential's people and culture to their places. As of right now, we are overseeing nearly 20 properties across DFW and the Houston area.
Next, Quext was an idea spawned from our decades of experience and expertise in the multifamily housing industry. Technology and solutions offered on or through apartment properties needed massive upgrades, and that is what we are doing. We are bringing smart locks and smart thermostats to all property classes. We have created a digital human leasing agent to help people get through the leasing process at any time of the day. We are putting our state-of-the-art and cost-effective WiFi on properties, and we are doing so much more.
Select Title is our title insurance company, and these teammates really do live out the motto, "People come first." Our Select Title employees care for all demographics of people, helping families get into their first homes and aiding others in purchasing a commercial property for their very own business. As many know, buying a piece of property can be a stressful process, but it is not that way with Select Title, as they expertly walk people through with kindness.
Finally, Viva First is an FDIC-insured, free mobile banking application that specifically solves the underbanked and underserved Latino community. With more than 62 million Latinos in the United States, Viva First is bridging any language and cultural gaps, in order to bring education, security, peace of mind, and dignity to the banking process. We are a bank with culture, a culture of service to others, especially to our friends in the Latino community.
