As that market spawned a multitude of technical innovations, Thorlabs extended its core competencies and now designs and manufactures over 20,000 components, instruments, and systems for a broad-based group of academic, industrial, medical, life science, and defense customers. Our extensive product portfolio spans optomechanics, precision optics, fiber, motion control solutions, detectors, lasers, and imaging systems.

Headquartered in Newton, NJ, Thorlabs has a global footprint of manufacturing facilities and sales offices in 9 countries.
