About Omni Financial
Omni Financial® was founded in 1970 by World War II veteran, Army Staff Sergeant Fred Nives. At the end of the war, while stationed in France, SSG Nives tried to get a loan – and was denied. The reason? The bank said he was only a young serviceman with no credit experience. Because of that denial, Fred vowed that one day he’d start a company that would help people like him obtain personal loans.
Omni provides loans exclusively to active duty and career retired military and we are dedicated to responsible lending practices. Since our establishment in 1970 we have helped hundreds of thousands of service members stationed around the world obtain the funds they need quickly and easily. We are one of the first companies to lend to America’s troops and offer many benefits.
Our decades of experience and expertise in responsible military lending are reflected in everything we do. We have an in-depth understanding of the military lifestyle because we are staffed by veterans, military spouses, and military advocates who understand the unique needs of service members.
