Two Marines Moving was founded on November 10th, 2008; coincidentally the same day as the Marine Corps was founded in 1775.
TMM provides Award-Winning moving services to residents around the entire Washington D.C. Metro area. Services include local moving, long distance moving, packing, and storage. The Company was founded by Marine and combat veteran, Nicholas Baucom, in order to provide job and career opportunities for other veterans.
The Company has successfully completed 40,000+ local and long distance moving missions during the course of the last 11 years. Two Marines Moving has been recognized by the Department of Labor, Department of Veteran Affairs, the Washington Post, INC Magazine, and the White House for our efforts in hiring, training, and retaining America’s heroes.

The majority of our team are current or prior service members however you will find quite a few exceptional civilians in our ranks as well. We employ active duty and retired service members from all branches of the military, government/military contractors, college athletes, and community leaders.

TMM has provided a safety net for our veterans for nearly a decade. We’ve had service members bounce between active and reserve status, while picking up shifts at TMM during their time between orders. Many of our veterans go into contract work, but might spend weeks or a few months in between contracts…and there’s always a home for them to come back to in between those times here at TMM. We simply ask that you keep your honor clean, show up on time, and show up ready to work. If you’re reading this, you know the drill, haha.
