What We Do
Live for Life programs provide treatment for male adolescents, struggling with a variety of mental health disorders. In a residential setting, the clients receive individual, family, group therapy, and psychiatric care, in addition to other structured rehabilitative interventions. Live for Life’s goal is to maximize and sustain successful outcomes, assisting in the youth’s successful transition back home to their families and to their communities.

What it’s like to be a Behavioral Health Technician?

— Conduct life skills groups
— Participates in recreational and activity groups
— Oversee the day to day activities of the program
— Establish a therapeutic relationship with the clients
— Participates in treating clients with a mental health diagnosis
Importance of the Residential Treatment Environment
We believe that treating youth in a welcoming and nurturing environment that is as close to “home” as possible makes all of the difference for the most successful therapeutic outcomes.

A nurturing and home-like environment promotes the clients' developmental needs. In residential treatment, the physical environment is an essential aspect in helping provide clients with tools to regulate their needs i.e. behavior, emotions, and lives.

Residential treatment provides an opportunity for the clients to learn new life skills, build and repair relationships, and provides a path for a better future. Clients are part of a dedicated community that supports them on this journey. The positive effects of a structured support system have proven to carry on beyond the treatment period.
Philosophy, Mission, Vision

At Live for Life, our mission is to provide mental health treatment services that are family-driven, youth-guided, strength-based, individualized, evidence and practice-informed, and consistent with the research on sustained positive outcomes.
