About St. Charles Youth and Family Services
St. Charles is a non-profit human services agency that provides an array of prevention and intervention services. We work in partnership with state, county and other public agencies providing employment training, residential services, supportive services, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, case management and community care coordination services. St. Charles was established in 1920 to serve troubled male teens in a residential setting on 56 acres in the City of Milwaukee. In 1987, St. Charles began transitioning from a single service agency to a multi-service agency now providing more than 15 individual services serving youth, adults, and families. Our approach meets the individuals where they are in their journey, works from a strengths-based approach and provides services that are appropriate to the participants.
