About London Early Years Foundation (LEYF)
The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is a family of 40 nurseries across London.
We are a charitable social enterprise employing over 800 staff across London. Our socially inclusive approach ensures we make a real difference to the lives of 4,000 children and their families every year, helping them to develop a passion for learning, regardless of their background.
Since 1903 we have seen our organisation as a catalyst for long-term social change, not just a successful business. By supporting the next generation of people who will shape our world to become healthy, happy adults, we are changing the world one child at a time.

We believe that working in Early Years is not just a job: it's about helping to change a child's life. Whether you're an experienced Early Years professional, looking to start a brand-new career, or looking for flexible work while you study—we'd love to hear from you!
Together with families and communities, we give London’s children the best start in life through the highest quality Early Years education, especially those who otherwise may not be able to access or afford it.
We operate as a charitable social enterprise, which means we reinvest all of our surplus back into the business. This surplus is used to reward and support our staff, as well as providing extra support for our families who particularly need it.

"We are a long-standing team who are passionate about supporting our children's development!. Our nursery is well established within the community and parents recommend us to others as well as enrol siblings."
Sharon, Playhouse Nursery Manager
"My proudest moment was when we achieved an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rating in 2018 as it made me reflect on how far the nursery has developed since I became a manager. The team strive every day to implement the LEYF values: fun, inspiring, nurturing, brave."
Pauline, Ford Road Nursery Manager
"The staff are really motivated and always looking for innovative ways to support the development of the children. As a result, we've obtained an Ofsted Outstanding rating for the third time!"
