Our Mission
Huron Valley Schools... inspiring and building futures, one student at a time.

Our Schools / Our Students
There are eight elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools and one alternative high school in the District. In addition to the regular program, Huron Valley Schools offers educational alternatives and supplemental programs for special needs students.

Sixty percent of our teachers hold advanced degrees. All HVS teachers are highly qualified.

Milford and Lakeland High Schools were recognized by Newsweek as being in the top 2000 High Schools in the nation. The International Academy (IA) is now an official International Baccalaureate IB Middle Years Program (MYP) school making the IA one of the only all IB High Schools in the state of Michigan. The IA is the number one High School in the State of Michigan according to Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report.

Approximately 88% of our graduates pursue a higher education. Our music programs, robotics teams, sports teams and extra curricular teams consistently receive state and national recognition.
