About Arrowhead Transit
Arrowhead Transit has been serving Minnesota’s Arrowhead Region since 1974. We are the largest public rural transportation system in Minnesota.
Each year Arrowhead Transit provides transportation to thousands of residents in 10 counties in Northeastern Minnesota and beyond, including: Aitkin, Itasca, Koochiching, St. Louis, Lake, Cook, Carlton, Pine, Chisago and Isanti.
We currently provide travelers and commuters alike with scheduled service, Dial-A-Ride and a Volunteer Driver Program.
Arrowhead Transit’s specially-trained drivers can take you to work in Grand Rapids or the doctor’s office in Hibbing. We can take you on a shopping trip in Duluth or to classes at Rainy River Community College in International Falls.
Our drivers complete a comprehensive training program that includes defensive driving to customer service. Our drivers must maintain their commercial driver’s license which means safe driving both on and off the job!
Arrowhead Transit is operated by Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency.
“AEOA maintains a Title VI policy in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1987, and all related statutes. The Agency provides program information in an accessible manner through appropriate community partnerships, downloadable PDFs, language assistance programming, and accessibility features on our websites.”
