LoveFINS Fire Island

Love Watch Hill & Sailors Haven Inc -- or LoveFINS -- is an authorized concessioner of the National Park Service, one of about 400 nationwide. We are the visitor service operators at Watch Hill & Sailors Haven/Sunken Forest on Fire Island National Seashore, NY.

Watch Hill & Sailors Haven/Sunken Forest are the National Park visitor center areas on Fire Island with visitor services that include marinas, glamping, campgrounds, life guarded ocean beaches with pristine high dunes, general stores, ice cream, nature trails, guided ranger tours. There is daily ferry service for beach goers and other visitors. Fire Island is a 32 mile barrier island on the south shore of Long Island that runs from about West Islip to the Moriches, the 26 mile National Seashore portion being mainly accessible by ferry or private vessel. Sailors Haven/Sunken Forest ferries depart from Sayville and Watch Hill ferries from Patchogue. The Patchogue Watch Hill ferry terminal is across the street from the LIRR Patchogue Train Station.

At Watch Hill, LoveFINS runs an 163 slip marina, a general store, the Whalehouse Pt Restaurant & Food Truck, a 28 site campground w/ glamping sites. At Sailors Haven we run a 44 slip marina, general store and the Sassyfras Beach Cafe.
