About Deer Country Farm & Lawn
Deer Country Farm & Lawn, Inc. is a full-service John Deere dealership, with four locations to serve customers. Deer Country came to exist in 2005 with the merger of Landis Bros, Inc. & Adamstown Equipment Inc., two long established John Deere dealers dating back to 1920 and 1959, respectively. In 2006, what was formerly Lehigh Ag in Allentown, was acquired to bring us to four locations.
We fill customers’ needs for anything from a riding mower to a powerful 300+ hp tractor for the farm. For residential customers, we have a complete selection of new John Deere equipment including John Deere portable power equipment, riding mowers, zero turn mowers, utility vehicles, compact tractors, snow blowers, and more. Commercial customers will find a complete lineup of John Deere compact tractors, utility tractors, skid steer loaders, and zero turn mowers.
Our Culture & Community: Our industry is rapidly changing and growing, and while we embrace the changes in technology, we still value our past. Many employees from those original dealerships still work for Deer Country, providing a sense of historical community to our employees. We are based in the “Garden Spot” with a long agricultural history and family value-based community. We try to stay true to those roots by providing wholesome atmospheres at our facilities while also focusing on a safe and clean work environment. Our employees support their individual community groups using a paid “Volunteer Day” and as a company, we support multiple charities. We also support numerous local ag-related groups and events.
