About Vermont Youth Conservation Corps
Take action. Build Community. Work and learn with the land.

Mentor and work alongside young people, outdoors, on projects that matter.

VYCC brings people (ages 15+) together to work outdoors in spring, summer, and fall. Crew Members are paid, and work in small teams on projects across Vermont. Conservation crews improve the health of our waters, forests, and outdoor recreation infrastructure. Food & Farm crews grow and harvest food for members of our community who have limited access to fresh vegetables.

VYCC is a nonprofit organization based in Richmond, VT. The VYCC community has been taking action since 1985, and is accredited with The Corps Network.
