About Evangelical Community Hospital
Established nearly a century ago as an infirmary in a local home for the aged and orphaned, Evangelical Community Hospital has continuously grown and evolved to meet the health and wellness needs of the surrounding communities. Today, Evangelical is a 132-bed, independent, non-denominational hospital located in the picturesque town of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Our dedicated and skilled Medical Staff, along with more than 1,900 clinical and support professionals, provide personalized, affordable care in the safest possible environment.
In addition to our inpatient services, Evangelical provides access to a network of specialty services and practices not typically associated with community hospitals. That list includes orthopaedics, surgical care, diabetes care, wound and hyperbaric medicine, pain medicine, physical therapy, a dedicated breast health center, urgent care, primary care, and much more.

Evangelical Regional Mobile Medical ServicesEvangelical Regional Mobile Medical Services (ERMMS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Evangelical Community Hospital. ERMMS is a premier emergency medical services provider in central Pennsylvania, operating 5 mobile intensive care units, 3 basic life support ambulances and a medic unit. Across our system, we respond to over 11,000 calls a year in a diverse geographic coverage area. We recognize the value of access to healthcare for all residents and visitors to our communities. ERMMS continues to grow through its ongoing commitment to provide emergency medical care for all residents and visitors in our communities.
