About Centra Sota Cooperative
Centra Sota is an agricultural cooperative based in central Minnesota. Our story began in 1877 when farmers joined together to market milk and butter through a local creamery. In 1922, Producers Coop Creamery was formed and became the first cooperative to produce Land O Lakes Sweet Cream Butter.
Since the 1940s, we have grown and acquired other cooperatives in central Minnesota, resulting in the name change to Centra Sota Cooperative. While we have a history of growth, our focus has remained on the benefit it would have for our member owners, and not growing for growth sake.
Centra Sota has grown into a thriving and well-rounded cooperative with business units in agronomy, energy, feed and grain, country stores, and lawn care. We look for ways to give back to each of the communities we're located in. We value continuous improvement and are always striving to offer our members the newest products and services to ensure their success.

Help create more beautiful lawns and build a stronger community at the same time. We donate 3% of lawn care and lighting sales to community organizations. In the fall months, you can hang holiday lights for local residents and businesses. Whether you are looking for full or part-time work, we'd love to have you join our team.
