In 1966, Ken and Ruth Wilson founded Wilson Tool International®, or Wilson Tool Company as it was originally known, in the basement of a building in the warehouse district of St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. Today, that simple tool and die shop has grown into the largest independent manufacturer of tooling systems for punch presses, press brakes and punch and die components for the stamping industry.

As an employee of Wilson Tool, you have access to free medical services/care and a variety of eligible prescription medicines at the Wilson Tool – Your Clinic located onsite for your convenience. The clinic is staffed with a dedicated Physician Assistant and a Nurse Practitioner to provide you the best care possible. Other no-cost services available onsite include: access to Orthopedic care from a licensed Physical Therapist and Health and Wellness consultation with the clinic’s Wellness Director.

The health and well-being of our employees and their families is extremely important to Wilson Tool International. Our health insurance plan offer you affordable choices in the HealthPartners network to fit your family’s needs.The coverage includes prenatal care, well child care, adult preventative care at no cost to you and your family.
You can set aside up to $2,550 per year of your pre-tax dollars in a Flexible Spending Account to cover you and your family’s medical costs.
You can set aside up to $5,000 per year of your pre-tax dollars in a Dependent Care Account to cover your children’s day care expenses.
Dental
This is a company paid premium - no cost to enroll! Our provider has a large network with about 97% of local providers included. The plan covers many services at 50%-80%.
Vision
A voluntary vision plan is offered with deep discounts and savings on glasses and contact lenses - effective on the date of hire.
Life
A $25,000 life insurance policy and short term disability coverage is paid for by the company.
Optional life insurance is available to you and your family at a low weekly premium. An optional long term disability plan is also available.

Wilson Tool encourages and supports its employees in furthering their education and developing their career. Part of this support is a tuition reimbursement plan that reimburses your work related education expenses up to $5,250 per year. If formal education isn’t your style, we will work with you to figure out the type of professional development that is right for you.
