About Franconia Children's Center, Inc.
Our History:
The Franconia Children's Center opened its doors in 1978. Through the hard work of committed parents, it has been in continuous operation ever since. The increasing circle of children who have attended the center continues to be at the heart of our North Country community. These early friendships provide healthy, strong bands throughout each child's life.

Mission Statement:
To provide a quality, developmentally appropriate preschool and child care experience for children of all races, ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We offer an enriched intellectual, social emotional and developmentally appropriate experience based on age-appropriate and individually-appropriate practices.

We strive to create a strong sense of community at an early age by providing a secure and nurturing environment where children can socialize with their peers and grow through exposure to literature, music, art and a wide range of academic experiences. The Franconia Children’s Center promotes the philosophy that we are all unique and valuable individuals worthy of respect and love and are all an integral part of our community as a whole.

Operations:
We are a non-profit organization that provides child-centered learning in a developmentally appropriate environment. Our experienced educators guide the children in discovering the world around them.
