Futaba Industrial Texas Corporation is a leading manufacturing company in the automotive industry. We produce automotive body parts and instrument panel reinforcements. We are a subsidiary company of Futaba Industrial Company, Limited of Japan. Futaba Industrial Co., LTD. began producing automotive components and parts in 1948. It has grown to include 17 subsidiaries and 5 affiliated companies, which develop and manufacture office equipment, specialized welding machines, press tools, dies, and interactive robots, although automotive parts are the mainstay of Futaba’s business.
Upholding the spirit of Monozukuri (manufacturing expertise) with a corporate philosophy of “Quality Products at a Lower Cost,” Futaba has expanded beyond Japan, and now has production bases in the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, China, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Thailand.
In 2005, Futaba Industrial Texas became the fourth plant to open in North America. The company is located on the Toyota plant site approximately 16 miles southwest of downtown San Antonio, Texas. We are a part of Futaba’s five companies in North America: FNA Illinois, FIC Illinois, FIA Indiana, FIT Texas and FIO Ontario, Canada. We strive to produce the best quality products and enable cost competitiveness.
