TERRA is a contemporary garden centre and lifestyle retailer offering indoor and outdoor live plant material, furniture and accessories, decor, and lifestyle products in Southwestern Ontario. We are an experiential retailer focussed on providing our guests with a friendly, informative, and fruitful shopping experience.

The TERRA that gardeners enjoy today is a product of the vision of Jim Pepetone. From the days of his youth growing up over the family fruit market in downtown Toronto to today, Jim has been committed to providing freshness and quality and old-fashioned value and service. These values instilled in him by his father, have become a way of life as his sons carry on building the dream that is now TERRA.

Each spring, the TERRA family grows! We are proud to provide work for hundreds of people each spring, providing an opportunity to earn money while enjoying the benefits of working in a safe, outdoor environment, staying physically active, and forming lifelong friendships.

Our seasonal associates will come away with an introduction to horticulture, exposure to leadership best practices, and opportunities for development and advancement. We work hard and sometimes the hours are long, but we are always working together to achieve our goals.

"I had a very great experience working at TERRA Greenhouses as a seasonal Sales Associate for the past three summers. As a university student, it was a great opportunity to save money for school, gain experience in the horticulture and retail industry, and build valuable communication and customer service skills that are transferable to any future career. Although hours do get cut back just before school starts again, you work a lot of hours during the peak season.

Additionally, Terra is a great environment to work in. The staff is welcoming and management is very supportive. If you ever need any help answering customers' gardening questions, the management and senior staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Terra's teamwork environment meant that everyone cooperated and assisted each other."
