Pittsfield, Maine is a community of less than 5000 along the Sebasticook River. The river and surrounding area provide extensive opportunities for recreation for you and your family. There are multiple nature trails for walking or hiking, snowmobiling, and mountain biking. Enjoy skiing at the local ski slope or just relax and enjoy one of the seven community parks.
The town also serves as a regional employment center offering over 2000 jobs through major corporations and nearly 200 small businesses. Along with great public schools, the area also boasts several institutions of higher learning including Thomas College, Colby College, and Kennebec Valley Community College.

If you have questions about your health, you can visit our workplace health office and speak to a doctor or nurse about your concerns before making an appointment to see your doctor. Check your blood pressure, heart rate, temperature. The doctor and nurses are also available for counseling, ergonomic advice, and workplace injury prevention and treatment.

Our average tenure is almost 18 years, with some employees at the 20, 30, or 40 year mark! It may be because that, aside from being a great place to work, CM Almy is a community.
