The Wayne Public Schools are a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade from Wayne, in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's 14 schools had an enrollment of 8,560 students and 654.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.08:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third-highest of eight groupings.
