Working with usWe are an ever-growing company, currently running 23 Care Homes in various locations throughout the UK. We offer the best services and facilities for our residents and a wealth of career opportunities for our staff. We ensure that we provide Care for our residents to a standard of excellence that embraces our fundamental principles of good care. We are proud to announce that Gold Care Homes is recognised as the UK’s 3rd fastest growing health care company and has received an Investors in People Award for our Queensway Care Home in Hemel Hempstead.
Training and DevelopmentWe aim to invest in our staff from the very start of their journey with Gold Care Homes. All new Care Home staff are inducted by a senior member of staff during their first week, meeting Common Induction Standards as set out by the Care Standards Act. Staff will also shadow an experienced colleague and receive support from Unit Leaders and the Care Home Managers. This gives our staff the confidence and technical skills to provide the best care possible to our residents.
All our staff attend mandatory training. Staff who meet the criteria are encouraged to complete a QCF qualification which will lead to a Diploma qualification. Staff are evaluated on a regular basis through support, supervision and working towards their objectives through appraisals.
