About Hawk Mountain Sanctuary
Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is the world's first refuge for birds of prey, an international center for raptor conseration, an eco-tourist destination, and one of the most famous raptor migration watchsites in northeastern North America.

An average 70,000 people visit the Sanctuary each year, the majority during autumn, and a professional staff of 16 works to meet Hawk Mountain's raptor conservation mission. Staff do this through integrated programs in education, public observation, professional conservation training, and scientific research.

The mission of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is to conserve birds of prey worldw8ide by providing leadership in raptor conservation science and education, and by maintaining Hawk Mountain Sanctuary as a model observation, research and education facility.
