INTEGRITY EDUCATIONAL SERVICES (IES) is the non-profit educational service provider for Hope Academy of West Michigan and Lighthouse Academy. Being a part of the IES team means that you care about the students we serve, you genuinely believe every student can succeed, you align with our mission, vision, and Whole Child approach to education and you are committed to living into our values. At our Lighthouse Academy locations, we offer residential programs serving youth and adults in detention facilities, correctional facilities or intervention-based programs as well as community programs serving court-placed students, English Language Learners (ELL), students with Special Education needs, etc. Hope Academy is a general charter school in Grand Rapids, MI serving a large population of ELL and Title I qualifying students.

Lighthouse AcademyThroughout the community, at-risk teens who are expelled, court involved, or those with special needs might face a bleak and uncertain future in our traditional educational system.
Now in West Michigan, there is a beacon of hope: Lighthouse Academy. Originally opened in January 2005 as a private program, and later expanded as a charter school in 2008, Lighthouse Academy is a unique and innovative school reaching out to teens who have run out of educational options. Each Lighthouse Academy campus is unique in size, population and location but all are intended to be a safe harbor that provides innovative whole-child education and ensures success despite life’s storms. There are no tuition or enrollment fees. Lighthouse Academy is a unique and innovative school of second chances.

Hope Academy of West Michigan (HAWM) is a Ferris State University Charter School that provides a safe place for Preschool to 12th grade students and their families to succeed & grow academically & socially. Hope Academy serves anywhere between 350-400 students per year, 80-85% of which are English Language Learners and 98% of which qualify for free and reduced lunch.
What sets Hope Academy apart from other schools is the low student-teacher ratio, the high amount of support staff, individualized student learning plans, a whole-child approach to our education, job skills training for older students, and much more.
