About Discovery Hydrovac
Discovery Hydrovac is a specialized hydro and air vacuum service provider that supports the ever-expanding oil, gas, utility and construction industries. At Discovery Hydrovac, we use state of the art technology to safely and positively perform subsurface utility locating, (pot holing/day lighting) hydro excavation, air excavation and GPR scanning (Ground Penetrating Radar). Our premier services combine the latest equipment, superior project knowledge, and industry leading operators that will save you time and money while reducing risk.

CEO Karma Newberry founded Discovery Hydrovac in 2012. She has spent most of her 25 years working closely in or around the oil, gas and pipeline industry. She has worked for several large pipeline contractors in roles such as AP/AR, Purchasing, Inventory control, Freight, Sales and Marketing and Business Development. In 2000, she founded Wasatch Pipeline Supply as the President and Owner but always strived for something more. After the deadly gas line explosions that occurred in 2010, Karma saw a need to create a new company that provided safe and cost-effective way to expose underground utilities. Leading to the formation of Discovery Hydrovac in 2012. Over the past 6 years, the company has evolved into a preferred provider of hydro and air vacuum services in the state of California and has since expanded to several neighboring states on the West Coast as well as Midland USA and our newest location to service the East Coast from Pennsylvania.
