About Maple Island Inc.
Our story began on a farm eleven miles north of Stillwater, MN. During the Second World War, Maple Island was a major supplier of milk to the military and we continued to supply the military with dehydrated dairy products until the late 1990's. Maple Island took over a local dairy company in Wanamingo, MN. The packaging line was moved from Stillwater to Wanamingo, We continued to expand in the dry milk and specialty ingredient business and infant formula manufacturing. Maple Island adheres strictly to both government and customer provided standards.
