What is Harness doing to protect its employees during this time?
Harness’s top priority is the health and safety of their employees. In order to help flaten the curve of COVID -19 and to protect our loved ones, all Harness employees have been asked to work from hom until further notice.
Harness has also taken further steps to help the community and those affect by the coronavirus.
Helping our community
A note from Harness CEO, Jyoti Bansal
"As we all navigate the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our lives, there are people in our community that are not able to socially isolate and work from home, because we need them to stay at work to help curtail this crisis; ie: healthcare workers. And with schools closed across California and Texas, the children of these essential workers, and the children of low-income families, are now being cared for in make-shift emergency daycare centers set up in public libraries and recreation centers. While our employees work from home and our office food program is suspended, we will use our already budgeted Friday meal program so we can feed these children and low income families in need. This means your canceled Friday lunch will go directly to the plate of a child who has a parent working to help limit the impact of this crisis or is in a low-income family and may otherwise not have a meal at all. We will donate our budgeted Friday lunch to aid in this cause; the San Francisco office will donate to the San Francisco Food Bank, the Mountain View office will donate to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and the Dallas office will donate to The Stew Pot. Although at this time we must keep spacial distance, we can still do a part in supporting our community!"
