StraightUp Solar leads the solar industry in Missouri and Illinois and has been in business since 2006. We believe in people, planet, and shifting power. This company is transparent, trusting, and will give you room to show your strengths. It also operates horizontally, which means that it is less of a hierarchy and more like a wheel with spokes, which allows employees to give direct feedback to make improvements to the company. The field team is where the magic happens. Our installers are talented and passionate about their jobs. They bring clean energy to our customers and are excited to be doing hands on work that is engaging and different each and every day. Our crews get to travel around Missouri and Illinois to install solar for residential, commercial, and industrial sites. It is challenging but rewarding work for those that want to escape the office setting.

In the OfficeEven though the field crews get a lot of the action and gratification from installing the solar arrays, the office crew still knows how to have fun while keeping the StraightUp Solar machine running! The office in St. Louis, Swansea, and Bloomington becomes a place of innovation, friendship, and support. Coffee is always available to keep you charged up and excited to get more people to go solar. It is a fun and buzzing environment where operations, permitting, sales, accounting, and marketing magic happen to keep our field crews busy.
In the Community Our team and our company is heavily invested in the communities that we live and work in. Not only does StraightUp Solar offer 4 paid hours of community service per year, but our employees volunteer in a plethora of non-profit organizations across Missouri and Illinois. We have employees that volunteer for women's shelters, those that are on the boards of the Illinois Solar Energy Association and the Missouri Solar Energy Industries Association, some that travel internationally to bring solar to maternal health clinics so they have access to energy, and much more. StraightUp Solar also sponsors several employees to support a Grid Alternatives project, which brings clean energy to low income communities, every 3-5 years. As a B Corporation, providing for people and the planet is integral to the work StraightUp Solar does, and everyone at the company is invested in that mission.
