About Life Center
Since 1982, we have been providing residential and community living options for people with disabilities, who may need a wide variety of services and support. Our staff provide enrichment, training, and encouragement with tasks such as household duties, personal care needs, transportation, shopping, and errands. Our vision is to provide personally selected supports which will complement the pursuit and the quality of life each individual chooses. Through the incorporation of the principles of self-determination and gentle teaching, we help people live the lives they choose while feeling safe and valued.
Caregiving, Direct Care, In Home Supports to people with Special Needs.Life Center is looking for caring and dependable individuals to provide staffing support to people with special needs. We have in various types of settings that include in home support, residential direct care, and youth mentoring. We have open positions throughout Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. We can find a placement close to where you are!
Support that we provide include: helping with daily living skills, (cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc), community integration and activities (shopping, movies, lunch outings, dinner outings etc), social integration, transportation services, skill building, behavior management and much more. Experienced or not we provide paid training!
Perfect positions for those that have or are looking for work experience in fields such as: Direct Care, Home Health Aid, CNA, Personal Assistants, Special Education, Social Work, Social Services, Nursing, Fire/Police, EMT, Occupational Health, etc. Schedule flexibility that works well for college students and people looking for extra income.
Must be 18 years and older, have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, high school diploma/GED, and must pass background checks.
Helpful Training but not required for hire:
CLS or MORC
CPR and First Aid
VCE Training
