About St. Christopher's, Inc
St. Christopher’s is an evolving human services agency working to transform the life trajectories of children, youth, and families in need. Currently, we deliver on our mission through three vital programs.
• We are a Residential Treatment Center for children and youth (ages 12-21) who have educational and developmental disabilities, significant emotional issues, and/or psychiatric and behavioral difficulties. At our campuses in Dobbs Ferry and North Castle, we help them move beyond past trauma so they can reach their full potential and build better futures.
• We are a Health Homes Agency, through which we help children and youth (ages 6-21) on Medicaid and with chronic health conditions—such as asthma, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, or complex trauma—get and stay healthy.
• We are an Unaccompanied Children (UC) Program Care Provider, providing residential shelter, classroom education, healthcare, socialization/recreation, vocational training, mental health services, and case management to unaccompanied children (ages 13-17)—while partner agencies coordinate placement of these youth with vetted sponsors.

THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF ME: WILLIAM BEFORE & WILLIAM AFTER
William's Mom spent a lot of time worrying if her son would end up in jail. Then she turned to St. Chris and from his arrival to graduation, "everything kept going up and up!" He credits his daily interaction with our farm animals—part of our animal-assisted therapy program—with helping him control his anger and rediscover his caring side. William now attends community college, has a full-time job, and is well on his way to creating "a happy and successful life."
