Apple Annie's

Today’s Apple Annie’s Cafe and Shop began as a specialty food and confection shop in the basement of 109 Mississaga St E (home of Mariposa Market) in downtown Orillia in 1989. Fresh fudge made on the premises became our signature product and turned our Shop into a destination. We opened our Café at 101 Mississaga St E, just two doors up from the Shop in 2007. Delicious and unpretentious scratch-made food and baking, excellent coffee and a welcoming atmosphere make our Cafe a destination, too. We are very much a “community hub” featuring the work of local visual artists and participating in Orillia’s many cultural events.



The Shop was merged with the Cafe in the spring of 2020 – a planned move but advanced by several years thanks to the pandemic! We are open Monday to Saturday, 7 am to 6 pm except for Statutory Holidays. The old basement Shop is now our weekend “Fudge-and-More Kiosk” – an “express” version of our Shop, if you will.
