About Unadilla Valley Central School District
Unadilla Valley Central School District has an early-learner (ages 0-3) through grade 12 campus that opened its doors in 2002. The district was established as the result of a merger between the former New Berlin and South New Berlin Central School Districts in 1996. UV is a component district of the Delaware-Chenango-Madison-Otsego BOCES region.

We offer more than 100 dual enrollment college credit hours on our campus with affiliations to many 2-year and 4-year colleges. This allows our students to work toward the completion of an associate’s degree while in high school. The faculty and staff at Unadilla Valley is composed of full and part-time teachers, teacher assistants and support staff members. The Administrative Council includes the superintendent, deputy superintendent, secondary principal, elementary principal, director of pupil personnel services, dean of students and business official/district treasurer. The district has a strong focus on professional development and utilizes team collaborations as a way to strengthen our school community and perform at our best, each and every day.

Our district provides elementary students with Morning Program, a motivational assembly that helps begin the children’s day on an energetic, positive note. Our Morning Program personnel have trained the staff of 78 other schools in New York State to create state-validated Morning Programs for elementary students. The district has an excellent secondary education program for grade 6 through 12 that serves as a model for small and/or rural schools. Our school uses a hybrid schedule incorporating semester courses, as well as year-long courses. The district is also a designated Liberty Partnerships Program site in a consortium with Morrisville State College and is in the second year of an Early College High School Program that features college courses for students beginning in 9th grade.
